This week I ate the following… 🙂
Two sandwiches with butter, backed ham, sour pickled cucumber, fresh cucumber, tomatoes and lettuce. A glass of milk.
A bowl of fruits (apple, strawberries, blueberries) and natural yoghurt.
Being in the city with a friend, we ate brown bread, backed egg with bacon and tomato. Each half of the portion you see.
Toasted German white bread with butter and blueberry jam.
“Pierogi leniwe”. These are similar to “Kopytka” which recipe you can find here.
“Pierogi leniwe” are the sweet version with curd cheese. I ate them with yoghurt, bread-crumbs in melted butter, brown sugar and cinnamon.
Two slices fo toasted German white bread with curd cheese, yoghurt, onion and topped with tomato and pickled cucumber.
So that was it:)
To be in line with Saturday’s breakfast, I decided to repeat my great journey with omelette on Sunday as well. My husband was so great and made it for us. He decided to make a “blow mind” omelette and here you can see the results…. I mean… hehe, this doesn’t need any additional comments right? 🙂
I had brown bread with butter and mozzarella, plus salad tomatoes and sausages with mustard. Yummy…. 🙂
For dinner I had yesterday’s leftovers plus I added some extra vegetables (mushrooms, leek and green paprika).
An apple, brown bread with melted cheese and cucumber plus a bit of cottage cheese also with cucumber.
Cold, winter days are an inspiration for eating something warm and satiating.
This dish is pretty time-consuming; that’s why I recommend to make it just on weekends 😉
Ingredients (for 4 people):
– Pearl barley
– Carrots for salad (you can choose any salad)
– 2kg duck

– 2tbsp. oil
– 1tsp. cayenne pepper
– 1tbsp. thyme

– 1/2tsp. colour pepper
- Stuff duck with peeled, chopped apple and onion. Pour marinade over the meat.
- Bake with chopped carrots and green celery in baking foil for about 2hours in 180oC.

While being on sport holidays, you miss conditions to make a proper sandwich.
In Spartan condition by a lake, I decided for a simple bread roll with “plastic” cheese, “super size” tomato and an apple. So simple but so tasty… I really enjoyed that moment.
The colour of grass, water and the Sun made my dish very attractive.
Great wishes to you all. Enjoy your free moments…
